As President of the firm, Debbie King brings a blended background of over 25 years of business experience primarily in the fields of human resource management, organization development, finance and training.  Her experience has roots with two outstanding employers, Pennsylvania Power and Light and CH2M Hill (an environmental consulting firm).

In 1994 Debbie founded Evolution Management, Inc. as a result of her passion to assist business leaders transitioning their organizations through change.  Her energy for aligning people and processes has resulted in working with organizations of all sizes and in a variety of industries.   Recently this energy has been directed into the federal government arena where Debbie has lead the firm in securing a GSA MOBIS schedule and contracts with the Federal Aviation Administration, USDA, and the Small Business Administration.

In addition to a wealth of hands-on experience, Debbie brings knowledge from a Masters in Business from Kennesaw State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wilkes University in Pennsylvania.  Her interest in continuous education allowed her to earn a senior certification from the HR Institute, SPHR, and certification with the Myers Briggs, Herrmann Brain Dominance and CPI 260 assessments.  Her interest in education has also provided an avenue to serve as an adjunct faculty member for Keller Graduate School where she taught Organization Behavior and Organization Development courses and DePaul University where she taught the on-line SHRM certification course.

When she’s not working on her business or the transition of client businesses, Debbie may be found gardening, designing house remodeling projects, writing or volunteering.  She has been a member of a women’s writing group for over 10 years contributing poetry and fictional short stories.  In addition to that writing, Debbie has written many business related articles and a corporate fable entitled, Learning To Live With Downsizing.  She is also a national speaker on human resource, organization development and data privacy topics.  Currently she is volunteering for the 6^th year as a mentor in the Pathbuilders Achieva Program, a year-long commitment to assist high potential women make success happen.

A native of Bethlehem, PA, Debbie resides in Marietta, GA with her husband Stephen, and family pet Cozmo.  Debbie’s stepdaughters currently reside on both coasts – one, a graduate of GA Tech lives and works in Seattle and the other finishing her last year at UNC-Asheville with a double major in Math and Meteorology.
